The shaft of this +3 keen flaming burst halberd is made of strong oak; bronze runes decorate the surface of the wood (made by carving out rune-shaped hollows, and pouring molten bronze into them). Surface patterns in the halberd’s steel blade seem to waver and flicker, as if they reflect a roaring flame.
The wielder of the molten halberd gains fire resistance 10, as well as the Cleave feat. (A wielder who already has the Cleave feat instead gains Great Cleave. A wielder who already has Great Cleave now does +2d6 damage on any cleave attack, and his cleave attacks automatically trigger the weapon’s flaming burst ability, regardless of whether they are critical hits.)
Aura moderate transmutation and evocation; CL 11th; Price 100,000 gp; Weight 6 lbs.
