[m Tf] Businessman, investor, hype man, and all-around operator, based in Dusthill.
Johnny was a singer at The Tap in Dusthill. Then, with the aid of Group One, he managed to land a big score—a long-lost treasure, languishing in a monster lair in the western wastes. He used his share of the profits to pay off his debts, and then approached Edgar with an offer to both invest in the latter’s newly-founded trading post, and to take up a role as a promoter of the business—advertising not only the trading post itself, but also spreading the story of how lucrative adventuring in the wastes can be (thus to generate trade and invite customers).
Edgar agreed, bringing Johnny on as a junior partner to the business. Since then, the tiefling has prospered, leaving his performing career behind for a new life as a “hype man” and image-manager. The clear success of the trading post, and the expansion of trade between Dusthill and the civilized lands, has continued to fill Johnny’s pockets. It seems that the former singer can look forward to a life of wealth and status.
Johnny’s tiefling traits are fairly subtle. His hands have… not even claws, really, just unusually tough, sharp, and pointed fingernals; his eyes are a bit odd (unusual color? iris shape? pattern? it’s hard to say at a glance; something subtle, certainly); and he does have horns, but short ones, curving backward, easy to hide under a hat. Johnny could certainly pass for human, if he wanted to. However, he evidently does not want to, as he makes no attempt whatever to hide his fiendish ancestry. (Indeed, when he was a performer, Johnny sometimes played up his unusual nature, for effect, as a sort of counterpoint to some of his songs.)
