This immense lizard moves with a slow but relentless gait. Its feet end in large talons, and ropes of drool hang from its toothy maw.
Giant lizards are large enough to pose a threat to humans, although they tend to be slow, and are rarely aggressive unless challenged. Some can reach lengths of 10 feet or more, not counting the tail. Giant lizards weigh 2,500 to 3,500 pounds.
Combat
A giant lizard typically bites and tries to grab smaller targets. With larger enemies, the lizard bites and then retreats—returning later, when its venom has had a chance to do its work on the victim.
