Charm necklace
Charms of this sort occupy the throat body slot, but can be worn simultaneously with up to five other charms, which all function normally. (More than one sort of charm can’t be worn at once, however.)
A charm necklace is typically made with attachment points for six charms. The necklace itself is nonmagical (though it may have innate value as a piece of jewelry).
You must wear a charm for 24 hours before you can access its abilities. If it is taken off, it becomes inactive until worn for an additional 24 hours.
Charm of the laughing rogue
This charm is miniature hourglass that hangs on a thin silver chain; as the sand runs from one bulb to the other, it turns from black to white. It slows the wearer’s perception of time, letting him correct a deadly mistake. Once per day, as an immediate action, the wearer may reroll a Disable Device check. The wearer can activate this power after the success or failure of the first roll has been determined (even if his failure resulted in accidentally setting off a trap), but before any ramifications of that roll have been applied. The result of the second roll replaces the first result.
