Abjuration

You hold out an apple core, which bursts apart and surrounds you with a swarm of zigging, zagging, buzzing black pips.

Upon casting this spell, a number of apple seeds equal to the caster’s level fly out of his hand and hover, surrounding him. As a swift action, the caster may direct a seed to strike at a target within range. The seed strikes as a ranged touch attack, dealing 1d6 points of nonlethal damage, plus 1 per three caster levels (up to a maximum of +5 at 15th level) on a hit.

Furthermore, if the seed strikes its target, a magical effect on the target is dispelled as if the target had been subject to the area-effect version of greater dispel magic.

If an effect is successfully dispelled from the target, the target takes an additional 2 nonlethal damage per spell level of the dispelled effect, and the caster gains an equal number of temporary hit points. These temporary hit points stack with other temporary hit points obtained from this spell and persist for up to one minute per caster level, even if the careful conjuration consumer ends or is dispelled.

At any point, the caster may direct the seeds’ dispelling energy towards himself. Doing so is a standard action that dispels magical effects on the caster as the targeted version of greater dispel magic. Each effect dispelled destroys 2 seeds per spell level and negates 4 temporary hit points per spell level (only temporary hit points granted by the careful conjuration consumer are affected; the caster’s normal hit points or temporary hit points from other sources are not). A spell with level greater than half the number of seeds remaining (when its turn for dispelling comes) is skipped. The careful conjuration consumer is not affected by this dispel effect, but ends immediately thereafter. Any remaining temporary hit points remain for one minute per caster level, as normal.
