You suspend the effects of poison to which the subject has been exposed.
Delay poison can suspend the effects of 1 dose of poison, plus 1 additional dose per 3 caster levels (maximum 7 doses). A poison with a save DC of 20 or higher, or one which requires 2 consecutive saves to cure, counts for double the amount of doses; a poison with a save DC of 30 or higher, or one which requires 3 consecutive saves to cure, counts for triple the amount of doses. (These multipliers do not stack; only the largest one applies.)
You may use multiple castings of delay poison to affect additional doses of poison to which a single subject has been exposed.
The suspended doses of poison in the subject’s system do not affect the subject until the spell’s duration has expired. Delay poison does not cure any damage that poison may have already done.
