Co-owner (with his brother Edgar) of the trading post in the town of Dusthill, and operator of several caravan routes to the western frontier.
George’s merchant caravan used to be the closest thing to a “general store” that Dusthill had. With the opening of the trading post run by his brother Edgar, George has expanded his operations, hiring other caravaneers to supply the trading post with regular weekly runs between Dusthill and Drylake.
George still visits the frontier town once a month, bringing an assortment of goods that the residents of Dusthill can’t manufacture themselves. He also buys the “fruits of the desert”—various goods gathered in the wastes (from the extracts of certain cactus flowers to the skins of giant lizards). These George brings back home to the town of Drylake, where (through the general store still owned by his brother, though now run by a subordinate) he sells them to importers from the wealthier parts of Donaille.
