 The wearer of a ring of mind shielding is protected from detect thoughts, discern lies, and any attempt to magically discern her alignment, as well as from any other divinations that detect her presence or attempt to discover her nature or properties. The originator of any such effect must succeed on a DC 26 caster level check, else the attempt fails (revealing no information). (Because this protection extends to any of the wearer’s worn or carried items, it likewise protects the ring itself from having its effects detected or its properties revealed.)
