The party departs Oleshie? en route to Kiev, intending to check in with Arkadiy Norkin and examine the message intended for the Crimean Khan. Encounters with Cumans? and gnolls?, and a storm, leads them to take shelter in a cave inhabited by a blue dragon.

The party takes shelter in a cave inhabited by a dragon, is attacked by a mysterious opponent, and is then faced with an ultimatum from goblins upon reaching the forest; come with us or die. The goblins defeat the party and take them prisoner.

The party is taken to Nightscree and meets Siran, who identifies Albrecht and Nikolai as followers of The Iron Triad. The Goblin High Priestess of Volos takes the other three party members to Tarpeian Rock to be tortured for information. They are put in a cell with Greek captives.

Siran tests the capabilities of Albrecht and Nikolai. Boris, Sven, and Vasily attempt to stage a jailbreak. Siran informs us that a mysterious stranger is prowling Nightscree.

Albrecht and Nikolai tell Siran about the attack in the cave on the steppes. Boris, Sven, and Vasily are recaptured and tortured further. Albrecht and Nikolai are attacked by the mysterious stranger and dispatch him, with Siran's help. Siran helps free the rest of the party, on condition that they get information about Kiev for her. The party reaches Kiev and begins to investigate the message from Danil & Anastas. They determine that the letter has a magically hidden message in it.

The Crimean Khan

The party begins to get information for Siran, and asks Ambassador Said to find the magically hidden message in the letter from Danil & Anastas. Arkadiy Norkin behaves strangely, apparently under magical compulsion.

He reveals that the Orthodox Church appears interested in the party, and that he has been working for Yegor Dolgorukiy, who is a follower of the Iron Triad. They meet with him. Albrecht and Nikolai share a vision of the Iron Triad.

Isidor and the Cult

2007-11-04?

The party heads to Novgorod, passing through the Pripet Marshes. They are attacked by lizardfolk. Sven has a vision of the portal to Aegir's Realm. The party decides to try and locate this portal for later investigation. They are attacked by a larger force of lizardfolk, and aided by a sorceress and a bear.

2007-11-11?

The party defeats the lizardfolk, with the aid of the sorceress and her bear companion (who turns out to be her husband, a druid). The druid is killed in the fight. The party returns with them to the headquarters of the Acolytes of the Bear Guardian, where Ilya, the druid, is restored to life. The Acolytes are now in possession of an item of power from the battle, and intend to use it to further their fight against the lizardfolk. The party heads north, and investigates a church in Stargorod which turns out to be inhabited by the ghost of the Orthodox cleric who once presided over it.

The party battles the ghostly cleric, which goes badly. They return to the Acolytes of the Bear Guardian for magical restoration, and agree to recover the body of an Acolyte from the church. With the aid of Katerina, the sorceress they encountered in the Pripet Marshes, they disperse the ghost, recover the body of the Acolyte, and loot the church.

The party arrives in Novgorod and seeks an audience with Isidor. He asks the party to remain in the city while he decides how to proceed with the information about Danil & Anastas having sought the treasure of the Demon of Fire and Storm, and then been killed. An old compatriot of Vasily's brings him a relic from before Ragnarok.

Juliane, Albrecht's cohort, demonstrates her capabilities and is told the rules.

The party investigates the two swords Identify had incomplete information on, purchased a rare spell, and negotiated with Isidor regarding the treasure of the Demon of Fire and Storm. It seems that his writing can be revealed with the application of fire, storm, and dragon's blood.

2007-12-30?

The party heads off to locate a frost salamander behalf of Sven's druidic circle. The party did kill the salamander and evade the forces of Novgorod, but Sven is killed in the battle. He is raised by his circle, and the party goes to hunt for the white dragon from which the salamander was fleeing from. Ambushed by the dragon, they manage to kill it, and use its blood to reveal the contents of the one page of Zmei Gromovoi's diary they possess, along with fire and storm.

The Other World

2008-01-06?

The party travels to Novgorod to do some crafting and purchasing, then to the abandoned mine at Rzhev, which seems to match the information regarding the Spellkeeper's book. Heading towards Crimea, the party passed through the principality of Chernigov, encountering some hostiles. When the party made camp, they were approached by a Bodak, which killed Nikolai, Julianne, and Sven's animal companion before wandering off. The party then headed to the base of the Acolytes of the Bear Guardian, hoping to call in their favor to get their lost companions restored. The slain awoke in the Other World, faced with a Kozerog demon in the service of Volos.

The party journeys to meet the Baba Yaga in search of a way to bring Nikolai, Juliane, and Sven's cat back from the Other World. They are given a path, in exchange for extracting information from Linovis in the Other World about the item she had given him in life.

2008-01-20?

The party enters the Other World, and secures the release of Nikolai, Juliane, and Sven's cat. They also secure the release of another soul, a wizardly blacksmith named Vasily with the secret of liquid mithril. And from Linovis, the party learns that the gift that the Baba Yaga had given him was the bridle to her mount, and he had given it to Koschei The Immortal. In return for the release of souls, the party must provide three souls of similar power within a year and a day, or their souls will be consumed.

The party returns from The Other World and completes their talk with the Baba Yaga. They then head towards Crimea, stopping off in Kiev and Oleshie along the way. Siran contacts the party seeking the information they have gathered, and they give only the information regarding Kiev. She also inquires about two crests, one of which is that of a rival house to Albrecht's.
